Manages, monitors, and directs the service processes to ensure shop efficiencies that promote quality customer satisfaction. Coordinates the tasks, instruction, and supervision of on-site staff to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Takes customer requests seriously, respects the customer’s property, and organizes workflow to meet and exceed customer expectations. Maintains schedule to aid in the timely completion of installation and service work. Enhances the organization’s reputation by accepting responsibility for and taking pride in the accomplishment of valuable, customer-focused work. Promotes and maintains a safe and healthy work environment adhering to both company and OSHA established standards. Coordinates with sales and parts departments to achieve shared goals. Manages upwards of 15 technicians.

Through collaborative efforts, you'll support team members in meeting daily targets and taking ownership of their responsibilities. Adhering to regulatory and reporting standards will be central to your role, ensuring full compliance across all operations. 

 DUTIES

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, employees, and management to deliver cost-effective, value-added customer service. 
  • Plan, assess, prioritize, and assign daily operational activities at the on-site level. 
  • Delivers exceptional service by focusing on quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving customer service issues; identifying trends; recommending systems and improvements.
  • Monitors parts and labor repair orders and warranty processes and continues to improve on those processes. 
  • Develops staff by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and instructing employees; developing, coordinating, and administering policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Ability to react quickly to organization and schedule changes and to shift priorities.
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, maintaining a safe, secure, and engaged work environment, developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operational information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action, defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies.
  • Fosters an environment of safety and continuous improvement. 
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and managers either written or verbally. Bilingual a plus.
    Fosters teamwork, handles pressure, provides specific feedback, listens to constructive input and management conflict. 
  • Proven organizational and time management skills, detail-oriented knowledge of equipment, and professional demeanor. 
  • Utilizes critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities, and exercises good judgment when completing tasks in an efficient, accurate, and productive manner. 
  • Coordinates resources to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Travel when required.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by management. 
  • Attendance and punctuality are an essential job function.
WORK QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or five years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and work experience in a dealership environment. Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience building and managing a multi-departmental teams is preferred. 
  • Refrigeration background required.
  • Experience in Performance Management, Project Management, Coaching Management, and Results Driven.
COMPUTER SKILLS
  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
    1. Using a computer application to manage large amounts of information, including creating and editing simple databases, inputting data, retrieving specific records, and creating reports to communicate the information. Analyzing data as needed.
  • Use of Industry Software such as Karmak, Fusion and Domo a plus.

7am to 4pm, with additional hours as needed.
