Unarmed Security Guards needed for a Special Event-Super Bowl LIX.

We are seeking professional and reliable Unarmed Security Guards to join our team for Super Bowl LIX. As a key member of our security team, you will ensure a safe and secure environment for assets/property. This is a position ideal for those with a background in customer service, safety, or security. 

This event will be from approximately Jan. 20th, 2025 through Feb. 10th, 2025. The Super Bowl is on Sunday Feb. 9th, 2025.

Pay Range: $15-$20 per hour (OT after 40 hours)

10-12 hour shifts (On the average)

Valid Guard Card License Required

Must successfully pass a background screening through a Live scan/Fingerprinting

• NOTE: Must have completed the 16-hour Provisional Unarmed Guard Training Course prior to being scheduled for any shifts. as well as You will also be required to complete a live scan for a background check by IDemia prior to moving forward in the process. If these steps are not completed prior to the company’s orientation, you will not be able to move forward in the hiring process.

Role Overview:

Reel Security Officers are primarily responsible for protecting valuable equipment and production property in temporary indoor and outdoor locations in the New Orleans area. Monitor and protect client property at temporary locations from intrusion and theft.

• Record and log incoming drop-offs and pickups of client equipment at various worksite locations.
• Patrol client areas to detect potential unsecured property and trespassers.
• Obtain information on incidents that occur on post, write an incident report and report to direct supervisor.
• Monitor worksites to prevent trespassing, vandalism, and theft.
• Ability to handle and navigate high-stress environments that require emotional intelligence.
• Perform regular patrols of the venue to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with directions and event information.
• Enforce event rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner.
• Respect and acknowledgement with regard to chain of command and protocols
• Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents and report them to event management and local authorities when necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security issues.
• Assist in crowd control and ensure safe flow of attendees.
• Support the event team with additional duties as needed.

What You Bring to Reel Security:

• High School or equivalent preferred
• Valid Guard Card (License)
• Personal vehicle is recommended and a valid driver's license is required.
• Smartphone is REQUIRED.
• Flexible Schedules.

• High standards of integrity and honesty and a history of lawful conduct.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay alert and focused during long shifts.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Must pass a background check.
