What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Lead position at Rees Associates?
- Coordinate and maintain production outputs that are on time, to specification and profitable for Rees Associates, Inc., while on the production floor throughout production shift.
- Provide leadership for their assigned work area through effective communication of work goals, and machine and materials problem solving, policy enforcement, housekeeping, training, and record-keeping.
- Understand and use Rees quality guidelines, customer expectations and USPS Regulations to maintain excellent quality standards.
- Maintain daily attendance with no tardiness. Absences must be planned. Be able to work more than 8 hours per day. Be able to work weekends, when required.
- Prepare floor for next shift; machines stocked, schedules to machines, set-ups complete, housekeeping and communication to incoming supervisor.
- Complete “work assignment sheet” for next day. Based on the production schedule, posting prior to the end of your current work shift for employee review.
- Maintain quality output for the work center.
- Train/retrain staff if errors or omissions are noted.
- Random spot check samples from all machines.
- Random audit of QA daily sheet.
- Notify the production manager and account executives of any issues or incidents.
Employee Management:
- Assist with employee evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Daily motivation of staff and ongoing interaction to provide feedback, answer questions and strive to increase employee productivity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
