Front of House Manager

Overview
The Flipping Egg is a breakfast/lunch casual dining restaurant located in Abilene, Tx. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires excellent leadership skills, as you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing front-of-house operations, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service.

Duties

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise and train staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to maintain high standards of service.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and experience.
• Collaborate with the kitchen management team to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and waiting areas.
• Assist in menu planning and special event catering as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service management or a related role within the food industry.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of catering operations and event management is a plus.
• Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices.
• Previous experience as an assistant manager or in kitchen management is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
