What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard/Material Handler position at Reese Wholesale?
Reese is an 85 year old company that distributes Roofing, Siding, Windows and other building materials to builders and contractors. We operate 8 Branches in Indiana and 1 in Kentucky. We are a growing company currently seeking hard-working, dependable Yard/Warehouse personnel to join our team.
This is considered an Entry Level position.
Details
- The pay is $17.00 per Hour plus Benefits; (See below)
- Hours are 7:00am – 5:00pm M-F, and when scheduled, Saturdays 7:00am-Noon;
- You will be handling items that can be as heavy as 100lbs often;
- You will be operating a Forklift; we can train you how;
- You will be working outdoors.
Job Requirements
- Required to pass a Drug Test. We do not screen for THC;
- Required to pass a Background Screening;
- Required to drive a forklift or have ability to learn how to drive a forklift;
- Required to have you own transportation to and from work;
- Required to do basic math skills with a calculator if needed- Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division;
- Required to lift and carry 100 lbs. unaided;
- Required to work in all weather conditions, hot, cold, rain and snow;
- Required to work weekends as scheduled;
