IT Director

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our IT department. This pivotal role involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of technology systems that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network administration, cloud computing, and leadership, ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports our business objectives while maintaining security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Oversee the management of network infrastructure, including WAN and LAN systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Lead the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
• Manage cloud computing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with intellectual property law and other relevant regulations affecting technology use.
• Implement robust help desk support systems to address user needs effectively.
• Monitor and maintain Active Directory services to ensure secure access to resources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technology needs and propose solutions that drive business value.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.

Experience

• Proven experience in a leadership role within an IT department or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of network administration principles, including WAN technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and their implementation in business settings.
• Experience managing Active Directory and related services.
• Proficiency in SQL for database management tasks is preferred.
• Understanding of Node.js for application development is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
