Referee365 schedules youth and HS baseball umpires in De Soto, KS. We're looking for all of the good umpires, new and experienced, that we can find.
Do you love baseball and want to stay in the game or be a part of the game? Do you have prior officiating experience in other sports? Are you looking for a fun, flexible, challenging part-time job? If any of those things are true, then umpiring may be for you.
The City of De Soto will play a spring and summer schedule on two fields, two or three days per week. Two games on each field each night. We're looking for umpires capable of working U12 - U16 baseball. Games will start in April. Umpires are paid on a per-game basis depending on the age level.
- Free and extensive training, supervision and support. We will maximize your chances of success.
- Flexible schedule. Work around your other obligations. Work only when you're available.
- Excellent opportunity for both new and experienced umpires.
- New umpires will typically start at the machine pitch level.
- Umpires need to be great teammates but also work well independently.
- Punctuality and professional appearance are critical. We'll help you with both.
- Must be at least 14 years of age to start.
Your schedule is flexible and completely within your control. You work only when you're available and want to work. If you're new to umpiring, we'll provide all of the training and support that you'll need. If we help you succeed, then we help the City of De Soto and its players and coaches succeed.
