Compensation and Schedule :
- Compensation : $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
- Work Hours : Monday through Thursday, 6 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM; Friday, 6 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM
- Work Flexibility : Full-time, on-site
- Employment Type : Temp-to-Hire
Role Overview : The CNC Operator will :
Organize cut files and materials to cut and label parts for assembly according to the production schedule and department goals.Use various measuring tools to ensure the accuracy of measurements and completed products.Monitor machine operations, make adjustments as needed, and conduct periodic maintenance.Utilize various hand and power tools to assist in the production process.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all safety standards and protocols are followed.Communicate with Shop Foremen and other team members to address any issues or concerns that may arise during production.Ideal Candidate Profile :
Experience : At least 1-2 years of experience operating CNC machines, especially in a wood shop environment.Skills / Qualifications : Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers; strong attention to detail; basic computer skills.Personal Characteristics : Excellent time management and organizational skills; strong work ethic; ability to work independently and as part of a team.Other Requirements : Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods; willingness to work overtime as needed.Benefits :
