We are looking for a results driven packager. This position will report to the general manager who has been working with the company for several years. This role involves packaging cannabis products in accordance with state regulations and company standards to ensure quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for the cannabis industry, and an eye for precision.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to...
- Meet daily and weekly volume goals.
- Accurately package cannabis products into final retail-ready containers.
- Follow all local, state, and federal guidelines for cannabis packaging, labeling, and tracking.
- Measure and weigh product to ensure correct quantities are packed.
- Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials, report shortages or damages to supervisors.
- Maintain outstanding work space condition and regulated standards.
- Assist in other areas of the production process as needed.
- Be a shining example of good behavior and high performance.
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years old.
- Maine resident with current valid Maine drivers license.
- Must be able to pass the background check.
- Basic knowledge of cannabis is a plus, but not necessary.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle cannabis products in a safe and responsible manner.
- Reliable transportation.
- The ability to perform tasks that involve lifting (up to 30lbs), prolonged standing, walking and kneeling.
