Thomson Reuters Special Services is looking for a talented and motivated technical intern with data science and programming skills to create, design, and build a data science project. In this role, you will leverage Thomson Reuters data to help understand and address an important U.S. government related data project. You will receive mentoring and advice from an experienced team of data scientists, research scientists, and software engineers. At the end of the internship, you will present your ideas and progress to the company as part of a larger session of intern presentations.
Location
This position can be filled remotely, or you can work in a hybrid arrangement at our McLean, VA office.
About the Role
In this opportunity as a Data Science Intern you will :
- Work closely with a team of data scientists, research scientists, and software engineers to create, design, and build a proof-of-concept related to the field of national and global security.
- Write well-designed, well-constructed, and well-tested code.
- Perform statistical analyses or create machine learning models.
- Present your progress at the end of the internship.
