Care Partner

CARE PARTNERS, join us on our mission to create a senior living revolution where compassion meets innovation! We are currently interviewing for a Night time Care Partner position. This is a rotating 12 hour shift position. Open shifts are from 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 7:00 PM - 7 AM. Pay rate is $15.00 - $16.00 with and additional $1.00 shift differential for working evenings. We are a family oriented home and looking for someone with previous experience working with individutals with Alzheimer's/ Dementia. We are also seeking applicants as PRN, or as needed to call upon when needed due to another staff member's call off.

What You’ll do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

What You’ll Bring

• You will bring a willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
• You will bring the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
