Commercial Cleaner - Distribution Warehouse

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at a busy distribution warehouse. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the facility remains clean, safe, and organized to support daily operations. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to adhere to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping & mopping throughout warehouse floors, breakrooms, restrooms, and office spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas ensuring spills and debris are promptly addressed.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners, ensuring proper waste disposal.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment, such as scrubbers or buffers, to maintain the appearance of warehouse floors.
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, including doors, handles, and shared equipment.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and materials as needed.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and warehouse regulations while performing cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial or warehouse cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment, such as industrial vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers, is a plus.
• Understanding of safety standards in a warehouse or industrial setting is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in a dynamic environment.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and being on your feet for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Able to pass a background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.75 - $15.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
