Custodian/Janitorial

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Contractor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in a secure government facility. The ideal candidate must be trustworthy, professional, and able to pass a background check as required for working in a government office. This is a 1099 contract position.

Duties:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring supplies are stocked.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with facility policies.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all security and safety protocols while working within the facility.

Requirements:

• Must pass a thorough background check.
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or janitorial work preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality in a professional environment.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must.

Contract Type:

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Part-time hours Monday - Friday flexible hours between 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM and will take anywhere from 3-5 hours per shift.
