Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at a busy office for a distribution warehouse. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the facility remains clean, safe, and organized to support daily operations. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to adhere to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping & mopping throughout office spaces, breakrooms and restrooms including the warehouse restrooms
- Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas ensuring spills and debris are promptly addressed.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners, ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, including doors, handles, and shared equipment.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and materials as needed.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and warehouse regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, such as industrial vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers, is a plus.
- Understanding of safety standards in a warehouse or industrial setting is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in a dynamic environment.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Able to pass a background check
