Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct mental health support services to clients in accordance with treatment plans..
- Assist clients in developing coping skills, improving daily functioning, and achieving personal goals according to their individualized treatment plan
- Collaborate with families, community resources, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-A or QMHP-C) as defined by the Virginia Board of Counseling.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience working with adults or children in a community-based setting.
- Strong communication, crisis intervention, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a community-based setting.
