About the Role :
Reflex Performance Resources Inc. is seeking a Kids Activewear Designer to join our growing team. We are looking for a product-obsessed, creative, and innovative designer who is passionate about the activewear industry. You will work closely with the Design Director to develop a best-in-class product assortment, leveraging market trends and the latest technologies to inspire our customers. This role is perfect for someone who is driven, enjoys pushing boundaries, and is eager to grow both current and new brands.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the product design process from concept to final approval, including fabric development, lab dip selection, sketching, tech packs, proto reviews, and fittings.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to create an assortment that resonates with our customers and supports strategic brand initiatives.
- Drive innovation in fabric selection and trims to elevate the product offering.
- Partner with the production team to ensure the design vision is executed while meeting key metrics, including delivery timelines and gross margin targets.
- Lead fit sessions with the technical design team to ensure fit and quality standards are met.
- Stay ahead of trends in market, product, fabric, and kids activewear, and incorporate research into the design process.
