Under the direction of Human Resources leadership, leverages Human Resources and Administrative experience to focus on the daily human resources functions for the organization: talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, policies and procedures and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and applicable employment laws. The primary focus of this position will be managing all talent acquisitions and onboarding processes.

• Onboarding: Ensures smooth transition into the organization • Prepares all new hire paperwork and ensures communication and scheduling of new hire.
• Delivers New Hire Orientation Day 1. • Benefits Administration:
• Delivers and implements the administration/enrollment of the various employee benefit plans such as medical, dental, life, and disability insurances for active and retired employees. • Monitors and schedules pay actions.
• Delivers and implements the processing of workers’ compensation, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Leave of Absence and FMLA programs and administrative paperwork requirements.
• Delivers and implements the Employee Wellness Program. • Conducts Benefits Orientations • HRIS – Ensures employee data management/maintenance.
• Paycor • SAMBA • EASE • FleetNet • Employee Relations: • Conduct Investigations and implement the corrective counseling process for non-union employees.
• Performs tasks related to the Termination Process. ▪ Separation Paperwork ▪ Exit Interviews
Reporting:
• Manages all EEO/AAP tracking and reporting.
• Manages all FMLA tracking and reporting.
• Manages all Workers’ Compensation tracking and reporting.
• Manages all Turnover reporting.
• Manages all vendor reports.
Employee Engagement:
• Partners with managers to implement engagement programs and plans for departments and the organization.
• Assists in conducting regular employee satisfaction surveys, analyzing results, assisting managers to make recommendations and implement changes if necessary.
• Performance Management: • Assists managers with the performance appraisal process.
• Assists in training managers to effectively coach and discipline employees.
• Risk and Compliance:
• Works to ensure requirements, reporting and HR functions, policies and procedures are compliant with all local, state, and federal guidelines/regulations.
• Assists with the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbooks, Human Resources Stand Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Human Resources programs and policies. Assists with implementing the TANK Drug & Alcohol program in accordance with federal regulations and TANKS’s Drug Abuse and Alcohol Misuse policy.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in human resources or related field or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of HR Generalist and HR administration/operational experience
• Working knowledge of HR practices, employment related laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
• Exposure to unions, contracts, and union environments.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, plan, organize and manage administrative tasks.
• Effective communication and people skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to develop relationships within the organization.
• Experience with HRIS systems and reporting.
• Proficient in MS word, Excel, and Outlook

Salary : $24 - $26
