Shift:  1st Shift (6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Continental / Block Schedule)

Pay rate: $18.50/hour

Essential Functions:

• Ability to Drive and Operate Fork Truck (can be trained during first 90 days)
• Process and Maintain the recycle area (baling of items, cleanup of area, maintaining of organization)
• Understanding of Baler and it's normal operation (some general maintenance)
• Ordering of materials needed to support the baling operations
• Assist Parts Department with unloading of trailers or deliveries for Maintenance
• Understanding and ability to complete the BOL process
• Ability to load the TR Drum Truck
• Assist with the drum cleaning process for Blending
• Trained and authorized in aerial manlift operation (both articulating and standard scissor)
• LOTO / Safety Harness Training Completed
• Chemical Safety Training - understanding of chemicals on site as well as safe practices for handling and storage
• Ability to complete the bulk destroy process (tanker haul away)
• Ability to complete the recycle process for aerosol cans and ink based products
• Understanding of the corrugate trailer process (BOL, loading, managing)
• Sump Pump basic understanding of setup / investigation / and maintaining of pumps around facility
• Ability to utilize employee email system through Outlook (begin interacting with vendors)
• Begin working with Northstar for the scheduling of pickups, deliveries, etc. in regards to the recycle / waste processes
• Materials Ordering for facility tasks (paints, tools, etc.)
• Inspection of the diesal storage / delivery system and the reporting of this information
• Ability to compelte the GoodPak Containers Loading
• Assist with maintenance activities throughout the facility (including shutdown activities)
• General upkeep of facilities items (painting, organization, cleaning, etc.)

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to read and write English, job instructions
• Must be able to perform basic computer functions
• Qualified associate must be forklift certified
• The associate must occasionally lift and/or maneuver more than 50 pounds

Proficiency Level:

Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff

Education and Experience:

• High School Certification
• Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experienced in SAP

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to push and/or pull up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to continuously stand and/or walk for extended periods of time on concrete surface.
• Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, crouch, reach, climb and/or stoop throughout the shift as needed to successfully perform job duties.
• Successful completion of a post offer physical assessment, drug screen and background check required.
