Summary Description :
- The Materials Management Analyst will be responsible for analyzing material inventory metrics and tracking execution, including days of supply, excess inventory, and aged materials.
Essential Functions :
Material Projects AnalysisTrack, communicate, analyze, and evaluate material inventories.
Make manual adjustments to reflect actual performance and changes.Track execution (exposure risk, target completion, material status).Manage and communicate inventory analysis reports to key stakeholders (Account Managers, Production Planners, Material Planners).Utilize critical thinking to build scenarios and analyze solutions to minimize exposure risk.Project and analyze month-end inventory across all materials.Handle extension requests upon material expiration.Analyze month-end exposure risk for aged materials to accounting and Supply Chain Finance.Support Project Management with cost-saving and sustainability initiatives.Extract data from various sources and present analysis in reports, charts, and graphs.Generate and summarize monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports to drive business initiatives.Assist with special projects as needed.Lead standardization efforts for inventory and aging processes.Support functions including Procurement, Finance, Master Data, Production Planning, and Materials Planning.Serve as a super user for Supply Chain Planning, reporting, and deployment.Support ad-hoc business analytics / reporting to identify trends and assist with product rundown, launches, and deactivations.Required Skills and Competencies :
3 years of SAP experience.Power BI (or similar) experience preferred.Project execution capability.MRP, Material Planning, and Order Management expertise.Advanced Excel and reporting skills.Leadership and collaboration skills.Strategic thinker with a proactive attitude.Data-driven and analytical with strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.Ability to thrive under pressure and make informed decisions.Detail-oriented and organized, with adaptability to change.Adept at conflict resolution and fulfilling business partner needs.Demonstrated initiative and personal motivation to achieve goals.High-quality time management skills to balance multiple tasks.Education and Experience :
3 - 5 years of experience in Supply Chain analysis.BA / BS in Business or Supply Chain preferred.Experience in food / beverage manufacturing or supply chain highly desirable.Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.Travel Requirements :
