RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist maintenance personal in parts identification and locating as needed.
- Build and maintain good relationships with outside vendors.
- Run requisition reports out of CMMS system. (MP2, in the future SAP)
- Contact vendors for parts quotes including pricing and lead time.
- Work with Maintenance Supervisors to identify needed parts, and secure equipment prints if needed.
- Write purchase orders keeping an eye on budgetary goals by managing estimated lead times from quotes.
- Securely maintain stock room.
- Document cost saving assignments.
- Work towards inventory reduction.
- Manage Inventory min/max levels and report performance on inventory level discrepancies.
- Understand where parts are used.
- Fill in for Maintenance Planner when needed.
- Identify obsolete parts.
- Write work orders and Kit parts.
- Send out weekly Kitted parts report.
- Write purchase orders when needed.
- Maintain an accurate ETA inside of CMMS system for parts deliveries. Check on past due orders, update ETA’s.
- Reconcile invoices against PO’s in SAP and Open Text to ensure on time payment of suppliers.
- Solicit quotes against requisitions.
- Expedite orders as necessary.
- Assist in keeping the inventory accurate.
- Put away inventory.
- Learn the maintenance stock room inventory, and motor cages.
- Involvement in Gemba Walks, and weekly MRO meetings.
- Utilize MP2 / SAP for CMMS and Inventory.
- Schedule maintenance training.
- Work with and direct a temporary Inventory Auditor.
- Accept receiving drop off boxes.
- Open and inspect deliveries.
- Catalog packing slips.
- Receive parts into MP2.
- Kit parts.
- Post parts into SAP.
- Order parts against Parts Modification sheets.
- Assist in all aspects of the maintenance department as needed.
Education: High School Diploma Required
- Computer literate.
- Familiar with Microsoft Outlook.
- Familiar with Microsoft Work & Excel.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in MP2 or SAP a plus.
- Have good time management skills.
- Knowledge of Hot Fill processes preferred, but not required.
