Job Description : Duties include but are not limited to the following :
- Independently tests, adjusts, approves batches of juice, and certifies production.
- Monitors production by sampling and testing bottled juices.
- Accepts or rejects raw material based on test results.
- Issues batch sheets as needed.
- Relieves inventory based on batch sheets.
- Enters batching / processing shop orders and prints reports.
- Maintains, reviews, and retains library.
- Tests and determines the acceptability of samples.
- Completes paperwork and records for shipping samples.
- Uses microscope to examine raw material for evidence of spoilage.
- Issues HOLD reports as needed, tags on hold material and tests for disposition.
- Adheres to and assists in maintaining and promoting GMP’s.
- Performs quality checks on incoming raw material received directly from vendors.
- Follows safe work practices and handles hazardous materials properly.
- Other duties as assigned.
