Position Overview :
The Sales Performance Analyst will play a vital role in collecting, presenting, and analyzing sales data to assess our sales performance against set goals and prior results. This position is pivotal in delivering insights that enhance the effectiveness of our sales team. Additionally, the analyst will provide ad hoc reporting and support to the sales organization as needed, transforming numerical data into valuable information that empowers better decision-making across the company.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and report on sales volume, revenue, and category changes to identify performance trends against prior periods, forecasts, and strategic plans.
- Compile data to drive and measure the effectiveness of initiatives, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Integrate performance data with market trends and forecasts to generate strategic recommendations.
- Assess historical and current data to enhance forecasting accuracy.
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance to ensure accurate and timely submission of pricing changes.
- Proactively enhance business processes that add value to the department and the broader organization.
- Participate in systems implementation and process re-engineering efforts.
- Document procedures and train colleagues to ensure seamless business continuity.
- Engage in ongoing training and development to enrich business acumen and analytical skills.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and support to the sales team as required.
