What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at Refresco?
1st Shift Opening (7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm Monday-Friday)
Essential Job Functions :
Conducting full equipment physical / functional inspections according to the Receiving / Shipping policies and procedures.
All shipping / receiving administrative duties such as prepare documents for shipping, maintain shipping records, document all actions in manufacturing systems, process bills of laden, general file maintenance, organizing delivery appointments and scheduling.
Review documentation for completeness of deliveries and ensure that any short or inaccurate deliveries are documented and followed up.
Responsible for all pick-ups and deliveries via UPS, FEDEX, various courier services, and Trucking companies nationwide and internationally.
Maintain clean and orderly work area and ensure that all interfaces with the company are treated to a high level of customer service.
Arranging backhauls.
Assisting with customer shipments to ensure order integrity and accuracy.
All shipping functions such as federal express, domestic and international shipping, UPS and International shipping documentation.
Perform clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, scanning, and filing.
Prepare reports as required for internal monitoring purposes.
Required Skills :
Must be able to complete unit conversions and perform simple calculations.
Ability to plan daily schedule with respect to assigned work.
Ability to provide constructive feedback in meeting settings.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work independently and over-time and non-standard hours if required.
Ability to work within a team setting and communicate effectively.
