Starting Pay: $15.87/HR

Summary:
The Jig Loader is responsible for loading jig to foam panels, cabinets, etc.
Examples of Duties:
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
- Loads jig, which involves the use of hands and arms to open jig, put metal in jig; adding latches and foam blocks, adding wooden blocks to fill space. Involves the use of hands, arms and feet to lift metal refrigeration parts weighing up to 100 lbs. Will involve using a tape measure, setting clamps to hold metal in place, closing and locking doors, and cleaning out foam shot hole.
- Removes wooden blocks and takes panel, cabinet, etc. to next process. Involves the use of verbal communication skills to receive directions through personal conversation.
- Responsible for adhering to all standard operating procedures to promote the safety of all employees, including wearing safety gear when required; hearing warning sounds, and recognizing potentially dangerous situations in an indoor plant environment.

Minimum Requirements:
- Six months relevant experience.
- Must have the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to properly utilize provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including eye protection, hearing protection, half-face and/or Powered Air Purifying Respirators, protective clothing, and fall restraint harnesses.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and be available for overtime when necessary.
- Available for training on various shifts.
- Consistently/Frequently - see (vision), hear, ability to read and write, ability to interpret information, basic math, reading, and writing in English.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent attendance record and work history.
- A strong mechanical aptitude is highly preferred.
