Summary :
Have the ability to assemble, test, and inspect refrigeration systems in multiple work cells on an assembly line
Examples of Duties :
- Assembles and charges any part or the complete refrigeration system and meets all quality and production standards as required by the Supervisor or Team Lead
- Assists the Team Lead and Supervisor with training new personnel.
- Reads and interprets wiring and refrigeration diagrams.
- Detects refrigeration and / or electrical problems and reports them to the Team Lead or Supervisor for corrective action
- Ensures all systems have correct condensing unit, coil, component parts and charge as per the order
- Must have a good knowledge of electrical / refrigeration systems and standard processes
- Uses small hand and power tools.
- Uses Oxygen-Acetylene torch to solder or braze refrigeration tubing
- May be required to work in other departments due to production demands
- Accurately able to read a tape measure and square
- Responsible for housekeeping around his / her general area
- Complies with all safety regulations and company policies
