Job Summary
As a Refrigeration Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for managing foodservice and scientific equipment installation projects, including selecting and recommending installation service companies, negotiating agreements, and evaluating contractor performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing quotations for installation projects by gathering project-specific information, identifying suitable installers, and defining pricing parameters.
- Acting as a liaison between customers, installation contractors, sales and service departments, and other stakeholders involved in projects.
- Communicating with service companies concerning scheduling, equipment issues, and other deliverables.
- Overseeing installation projects by maintaining contact with involved parties remotely or traveling to job sites as needed.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of experience in customer service and accountability for delivering refrigeration/HVAC equipment installation or repair services.
- Knowledge of refrigeration system operation and installation.
- Knowledge of walk-in refrigeration product families and their characteristics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously.
