RD&S is seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of design experience in industrial refrigeration systems, specifically ammonia refrigeration, and possess strong proficiency in AutoCAD and IIAR standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize industrial refrigeration systems, with a focus on ammonia refrigeration.
- Conduct detailed system analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop technical specifications and provide engineering support.
- Utilize AutoCAD to design and draft system layouts, schematics, and piping diagrams in line with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with IIAR standards, local codes, and safety regulations during system design and implementation.
- Perform system audits and recommend improvements to enhance energy efficiency and system reliability.
- Provide technical support for installation, commissioning, and operation of refrigeration systems.
- Meeting with both client and internal project teams to define applications and produce functional specification documents.
- Component selection and bill of material preparation.
- Interact with electrical engineering, control panel fabrication and electrical installation personnel.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial refrigeration engineering, with a focus on ammonia systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- FE and/or PE license is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD for system design and drafting.
- Familiarity with IIAR (International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration) guidelines and standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, FE and/or PE license is a benefit.
