What are the responsibilities and job description for the RSCS Refrigeration Technician position at Refrigeration Systems Construction and Service?
RSCS, a Full-Service Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Construction and Service company operating in 10 states and in business for over 25 years is now hiring Low-Temp Refrigeration Service Technicians. MRC / RSCS actively promotes a solid 'team environment' and is seeking technicians who are team players and enjoy working on a variety of low-temp refrigeration and HVAC-R systems AND who like to work within an actively supportive team ecosystem.
Requirements
Field service of an established customer base with some travel to surrounding areas. This IS NOT an entry level position and requires 3-5 years of experience with Commercial Freon Refrigeration Service. Grocery Store / Rack Refrigeration and Commercial HVAC a plus!
Qualifications and Skills
Our ideal candidate will be able to think quickly on their feet and be able to problem solve effectively. Our ideal candidate must also have a keen knowledge of the refrigeration cycle as well as electricity and controls and should enjoy servicing a variety of equipment across multiple facilities.
This position requires someone who has the knowledge, skillset, and tools to walk into any client's facility and has the confidence to troubleshoot and repair equipment when the facility operators cannot and is skilled in start-up of refrigeration systems.
Also, must be dependable, hands-on, self-motivated, a self-starter, well organized and detail oriented, willing to travel and be on call in a rotation. Clean driving record required.
