What are the responsibilities and job description for the RSCS Ammonia Refrigeration Technician position at Refrigeration Systems Construction & Service Company?
Requirements
THIS IS NOT an entry level position. Must have 3-5 years of experience as an Ammonia Service Technician, including experience replacing mechanical seals on pumps and compressors, performing motor alignments, possess a working knowledge of electricity and controls, knowledge and experience over multiple brands of equipment and multiple control systems, and understands ammonia refrigeration on an industrial level and is not limited to residential or commercial experience.
Our ideal candidate has experience with commercial and industrial refrigeration and who has the knowledge, skillset, and tools to walk into any client's facility and has the confidence to troubleshoot and repair equipment when the facility operators cannot and is skilled in start-up of ammonia refrigeration systems.
Also, must be dependable, hands-on, self-motivated, a self-starter, well organized and detail oriented, willing to travel and be on call in a rotation. Clean driving record required.
