We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation for healthcare professionals.
- Provide support and care for individuals with dementia, employing appropriate techniques to manage behavior effectively.
- Engage with clients in a respectful manner, fostering a positive environment that promotes independence and dignity.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Drive clients to appointments or community activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the living environment to promote health and well-being.
Skills
- Experience in personal care home settings or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of home community care practices and long-term care principles.
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and understanding basic medical terminology.
- Familiarity with dementia care strategies and behavior management techniques.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
