Job: Business Analyst(SAS and SQL Exp)
Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)
The Specialist works closely with State Agencies to understand their business needs, assists in development and/or recommendations to support the evaluation of programs, improvement of services, financial transparency, compliance and safety. This position is a technical resource who fosters partnership and collaboration across government agencies to assist in data driven decisions.
The Specialist will assist with a portfolio of development efforts and have the primary responsibilities to:
- Provide analytics programming support
- Provide enterprise solutions design support
- Perform testing activities
- Perform systems analysis
- Provide project management support
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of advanced business analysis skills and demonstrated experience in the use of data and its transformation into information.
- Ability to write test documentation such as test plans, cases, and results.
- Demonstrated experience using complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
- Experience in SAS programming or SAS tools such as SAS Studio, Enterprise Guide, Visual Analytics, or Viya.
