Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Regal Brands family of companies produce decorative hardware products ranging from vintage interior handle sets to hinges and cabinet hardware, representing a wide range of styles and décor. Our over-seas contract manufactures produce these products and ship them to our headquarters here in Denver, Colorado. The Supply Chain Specialist will own the ordering and transit process from initiating orders from vendors and contract manufacturers, to tracking shipments in transit, and providing metrics using Power BI. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Supply Chain Responsibilities (75% of the position)

  • Using purchasing strategy provided by Supply Chain Manager, execute timely POs to contract manufacturers.
  • Oversee supplier capacity and order progress, including rework and special projects
  • Collaborate with international freight forwarders to streamline and track shipments effectively.
  • Provide estimated in-stock dates on all out-of-stock skus.
  • Manage inventory records for stock availability and shortages.
  • Provide timely information to Quality and the Warehouse team for hot boxes for product that is needs urgent inspection and stocking.
  • Execute accurate receipts into ERP system to support Warehouse operations.
  • Place regular orders for warehouse supplies and packaging.
  • Address and collaborate on internal customer requirements regarding inventory management.

Reporting Responsibilities (25% of the position)

  • Convert current KPIs based on Excel graphs to automated Power BI reports.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights on inventory levels, order status, and shipment tracking.
  • Create actionable Power BI dashboards, and work with manager on the priorities.
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager and other team members with ad hoc tasks or projects as required by the business.

Who we are seeking in an applicant:

In order to be successful in this position, you will need experience with supply chain (preferably in a buyer or purchasing role) and/or logistics as well as experience developing and presenting reports, preferably with Power BI. Key qualifications include:

  • 2-3 years of experience with supply chains or similar experience as a buyer, purchaser, procurement specialist.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (familiar with pivot tables, integrating excel into other programs, producing dashboards, etc..).
  • Ability to use Power BI to produce data-integrated reports.
  • Familiarity with tracking KPIs and other performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of supply chain software systems a plus.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights.
  • Experience working with overseas vendors is a huge plus!
