What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Associate position at Regal Financial Group?
We are looking for a professional, process driven and organized Accounting Associate to join our team. The role of the Accounting Associate will be part of the Accounting team reporting directly to the Controller of the Firm.
Accounting Associate Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Company pays vendors, including tracking all invoices and payments; responding to vendor inquiries and preparing checks.
- Ensure the Company receives payments by maintaining the billing system, tracking all invoices and payments; responding to customer inquiries and preparing weekly deposits.
- Prepare and record routine inputs, journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare banking activity reconciliations for multiple accounts.
- Maintain processes for tracking and paying 1099 contractors.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end procedures, including preparation of regulatory filings.
- Assist with special projects to improve operational efficiencies.
Required Skill Sets:
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field
- 2 years of Accounting experience
- High degree of confidentiality and discretion
- Highly organized
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong work ethic and professional integrity

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
