Job Description

The Director of Social Services is responsible for overseeing the Social Services Department. They will provide oversight and guidance to the campus social workers who are providing assistance to members and their families in the form of counseling and resource referral. Provides training, standardization of processes, compliance oversight, outcomes assistance, performance evaluation and be a clinical resource to the social services team. Ensure company policies are met and all care is coordinated with members of the care management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :

  • Day to day oversight of social worker schedules in coordination with the campus leadership.
  • Attend and contribute to Team Conferences regarding care and provide suggestions for growth of team.
  • Monitor productivity and provide feedback to social services staff as to how to be more productive and or to improve outcomes.
  • Primary resource for staff to discuss ideas of improving care management.
  • Provide education and training for social services staff.
  • Counsel and completed periodic reviews of staff with cooperation / input from campus leadership.
  • Work with team to standardize policies and procedures, workflows, resources in order to maximize outcomes.
  • Establish performance metrics and standards for which team will be held accountable.
  • Recruit, Interview and make recommendations for hire for the department.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and / or increase services available to patients and teams.
  • Make recommendations to campus leadership regarding opportunities and improvements for the care management teams
  • Participate with campus and organizational leadership to explore opportunities for Social Work to enhance other programs
  • Develop and recommend programs and services to enhance efforts of case management
  • Assists in educational endeavors of department.
  • All other duties as directed by management.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $120,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department / team performance, and market factors.

    Requirements

    Education and / or Experience :

  • LCSW
  • High level knowledge of Case Management processes and principles
  • Experienced in managing and director a team of field social workers.
  • Prior experience in MSO environment preferred.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Must have excellent communications skills both verbally and written.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Some supervisory experience preferred.
  • Required to travel for member appointments.
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office environment, and EZ Cap
  • Requires current CA driver’s license and car insurance
  • Salary : $120,000
