The Job: Production Manager
The production manager’s key role is to set up our production flow for success. This role will follow our product as it flows through a handful of departments that each offer a unique service to the success of the project.
This role will need to identify potential bottle necks, or issues that will slow, delay or stop production and identify solutions that can help set up production for success.
This isn’t a desk job. It’s an out-in-the-warehouse job.
You will need to create procedures and lead the production flow to meet its potential. More importantly you must have the ability to lead and get people to buy into why your procedures are valuable and at best, offer simple solutions for complex problems.
A large portion of this role will revolve around Inventory Management.
- Correct inventory control is critical to the success of production.
- Manage inventory
- Perform consistent cycle counts
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility with a strong understanding of assembly line processes.
- Mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Time management skills to efficiently oversee production schedules.
- Experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Position will be a 10am-7pm schedule.
Pay $60-65K salary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
