About the Role:
Imagine spearheading a comprehensive quality transformation within our vibrant team that crafts Aerospace components with precision. You'll find yourself:
- Orchestrating our quality team's cultural and operational enhancement among 300 associates.
- Guiding a results-driven department centered on intrinsic improvements.
- Enhancing departmental proficiency through mentorship and skill cultivation.
- Nurturing connections with Aerospace industry powerhouses.
- Championing AS9100C and Nadcap standards for streamlined, effective production.
- Developing innovations to elevate our quality and inspection protocols.
- Providing leadership to Quality Assurance teams, anchoring clear goals and measuring against them.
- Fostering staffing solutions to scale with both customer needs and regulatory frameworks.
- Establishing diligent financial practices, ensuring sound budget management.
- Strategically targeting KPI fulfillment and adapting to ongoing metric evaluations.
- Driving notable reductions in internal scrap using Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Taking charge of dissemination in rare product condition discrepancies.
What We Look For:
- Seasoned in Six Sigma, applying methods to optimize manufacturing.
- Appreciation for DMAIC, dFMEA, pFMEA, and their implementation.
- Command over core manufacturing such as Mechanical Design and Thermodynamics.
- Constructive mechanical aptitude allowing top-tier MRB representation.
- Background in machine shop surroundings would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with important Aerospace materials and heat treatment procedures.
- Sincere advocacy for a culture of Continuous Improvement.
- History of deploying Lean approaches successfully.
- Solid grasp of industry-specific requirements like OEM and FAA regulations.

Essential Qualifications:
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience Needed: At least ten years in a Quality Assurance managerial role, connected with an Aerospace focus.
- Travel: Largely minimal, less than 10% expected.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English required.
