What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Technician II position at Regal Rexnord Corp?
Job Responsibilities
Analyze failed product returned from the field to determine root cause. Thoroughly document findings of all analysis activities. Follow an organized process for receiving, analyzing, and disposing of failed product from the field. Implement testing of No Defect Found units to uncover hidden or otherwise hard to detect failure modes. Interface with engineering and reliability on all analysis activities especially hard to resolve failures. Other duties include the set up, running, and tearing down of reliability tests, sample preparation for tests, and data collection.
Minimum Qualifications
Familiarity with electronic circuits and components. Ability to read and understand a schematic. Good computer skills; including Microsoft O365 suite of tools. Must be well organized, energetic, self motivated, and possess good communication skills.
Desired Qualification
Basic mechanical and electrical skills and aptitudes. Familiar with the operation of digital multimeters and oscilloscopes. Basic solder skills.
