Machinist Technician

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the team to efficiently execute the production plan to ensure on time delivery to the customer
• Use blueprints, sketches or descriptions to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as; micrometers, calipers, dial indicator height stand and pin gauges
• Assemble, disassemble and clean die components
• Set up and operate lathe and surface grinder to machine parts to conform with part specification
• Examine dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures for defects
• Change over single hit and progressive dies according to drawing
• Support team to meet all goals
