Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains machinery and production equipment, installs functional and structural parts within the facility. They troubleshoot, test, lubricate, and clean as required. They operate a wide variety of power, pneumatic, and hand tools, as well as precision measuring devices and test equipment. They are cross-functionally trained in both mechanical and electrical trades. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining production machinery throughout the facility.
- Responsible for all facility / structural maintenance and repairs.
- Execute and close work orders in a timely manner, including accurate record keeping (equipment history, PM schedules, and down time logs).
- Comply with all safety procedures (lockout / tagout, fall prevention, lift and equipment safety, and confined space entry), and works in a constant state of alertness.
- Provides reports as required by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
