Quality Engineer I

Designs and executes control plans, audits to ensure that control plans are being followed, and ensures containment and corrective action in the event of non-conformance. Works with Cross functional teams to update the QMS. Major Responsibilities: FAI’s/PPAP’s Leads Multi-functional teams to help improve the Quality System Gage Improvements Inspection Improvements Quality Audits Leading MSA’s (GR&R’s and machine capability studies) Leads Quality Improvements and Corrective Actions Works with Suppliers and Customers Training quality personal, Machinists on gages & Inspection methods Programming Gages Required Education / Experience / Skills: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Materials. 0-2 years of engineering experience (Intern and/or co-op) in a manufacturing environment. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with all levels of employees and management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while adjusting to changing priorities and project lists. Team orientated with the ability to influence others without authority.
