Job Description
A CNC Lathe Machinist with expertise in Live Tooling is required to work with minimal supervision in our Large Rod End Cell.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in operation set-up on CNC Lathe equipment, including multiple turret and multi-axis capabilities. They should be skilled in the use of indicators, gages, dial bores, and plate inspection methods for first article and in-process inspection of precision machined parts.
- Complete set-ups with minimal supervision/assistance.
- Responsible for all phases of part operation set-up to achieve first article acceptance.
- Perform and maintain accurate in-process quality inspection and records.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cutting tools feeds, speeds, and inserts tool life for aerospace machining. They should also be able to follow verbal instructions and interpret blueprints and quality requirements.
In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in CNC lathe operation and set-up.

- Familiarity with AS9100, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma principles.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
