What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst, Strategic Operations position at Regal Rexnord?
The Data Analyst will be part of the Strategic Operations and Integration team within the Regal Rexnord (RRX) Automation and Motion Control Segment. This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Strategic Operations and Integration. The Data Analyst will bring to bear data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting expertise to support integration priorities and related efforts. Successful execution will require critical-thinking, collaboration, and the ability to interpret / translate data to drive results across AMC integration project teams. The focus will be on enabling project success and delivering sustainable results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.
- Collaborate with AMC, Divisional, and IT project teams to build and deploy mechanisms for streamlined Integration project reporting.
- Serve as trusted ‘go-to’ person for data insights and analyses by expertly translating data into strategic business / project insights.
- Become / function as a systems SME with deep understanding of various AMC data sources; Navigate across systems (SAP, Oracle, Business Central) to pull appropriate data and perform analyses for AMC Integration projects.
- Build and deploy dashboards for reporting AMC Integration project success.
- Maintain robust data quality and escalate data issues / risks when appropriate.
- Support the growth of the Strategic Operations and Integration Team by supporting the development and deployment of data solutions to track, measure, and report performance metrics.
- Own results and communicate progress against targets during daily, weekly, and monthly report outs.
- Manage ambiguity and positively adapt to situations as appropriate to drive results.
- Function as a Regal Rexnord (RRX) Business System Champion by utilizing RRX Business System tools and templates to build continuous improvement and automation into existing processes.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Data Science, Computer Science or relevant field preferred.
- 3 years prior experience required
- Previous experience in streamlining data collection, identifying inefficiencies, automating repetitive tasks, and implementing new data analysis tools.
- Expertise in Power BI required, certifications strongly preferred
- Expertise working in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Business Central) required
- Effective communicator and solid facilitator
