We have one opening for Manual Grinding Position.
As a Manual Grinding Operator at Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division your focus will be to:
- Set up manual grinder machinery.
- Operate manual grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
- Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
- Move completed material to next workstation.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.
- Daily verbal communication with employees regarding work schedules and jobs. Written and verbal communication with management as needed.
Required Skills
Education: One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
Experience: 6 months – 1-year related experience or training.
Specific Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
- Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
- Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
- Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
