Position Title : Receiving Inspector
Department : Quality Control
Location : Santa Ana, CA
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt, Full- Time
Job Summary :
As a Receiving Inspector in Quality Control, you'll play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met from the very start of the production process. You'll be the first line of defense in inspecting and verifying the quality of incoming materials, components, and products, helping to maintain smooth operations and prevent any issues down the line. Your attention to detail and dedication will contribute to a positive, efficient workflow and ensure that only the best materials make it into our production process. We're looking for someone who is passionate about quality, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inspect and verify all incoming shipments (raw materials, components, and finished goods) for compliance with company specifications and quality standards.
- Perform visual inspections, measurements, and functionality tests on incoming items.
- Review and verify certificates of compliance, product specifications, and packaging integrity.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, including any non-conformances, rejections, or returns.
- Work closely with the procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure efficient and timely inspection of materials.
- IPC-A-600 & IPC-A-6012 working knowledge is preferred.
