Regal Technology Partners is seeking a highly skilled Preventative Maintenance & Calibration Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of our preventative maintenance and calibration programs. This role will focus on ensuring all manufacturing and equipment is maintained to the highest standards, with a specific emphasis on calibration processes within a manufacturing engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance Oversight:
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all necessary equipment.
- Schedule, track, and ensure timely completion of all preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the preventative maintenance team to ensure consistent service levels and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
- Oversee the calibration of manufacturing equipment and instruments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement calibration schedules, coordinating both internal and external calibration services.
- Maintain accurate calibration records and ensure all necessary certifications and documentation are up to date for audits and compliance.
- Ensure all preventative maintenance and calibration activities comply with OSHA, safety standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Perform routine safety checks and audits to identify and address potential risks or hazards related to equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Stay current on all relevant regulations regarding maintenance, calibration, and safety to ensure compliance.
- Analyze maintenance and calibration data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to align preventative maintenance and calibration schedules with operational needs.
- Provide regular reports on maintenance activities, calibration status, and overall equipment performance to senior management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preventative maintenance management and calibration, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices related to maintenance and calibration.
- Ability to sit for long periods.
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pages
