What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Coordinator position at Regal?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Regular and Consistent Attendance
- Process & verify accuracy of many different types of invoices (PO invoices, non-PO invoices, and invoice journals)
- Verify receipt of items we have been invoiced for, which are not represented on the purchase order
- Report price discrepancies for catalog items, to Procurement and Retail departments to assist in maintaining an accurate system catalog for theatre orders
- Communicating with suppliers when invoice charges must be questioned
- Request credit notes from suppliers where overcharges have occurred
- Evaluate and reconcile supplier statements
- Set up and maintain vendor records
- Maintain invoice approval workflow – Review for system errors and aging invoices that have not been approved
- Maintain open purchase order – Research as necessary and close older POs which will not be invoiced
- Format excel spreadsheets of electronic invoices to be imported into AX AP
- Assist with AX testing on all software upgrades and enhancements
- Help TSO and theatre users with Accounts Payable or AX system related questions
- Reply to vendor calls and emails, providing assistance as needed
- Other duties as directed by the Director of Global AP

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

None
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Advanced working knowledge of Excel. Microsoft AX experience would be a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
