Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday
Based: Knoxville, TN
Note: This position could turn into Full Time if there is an interest and a business need
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Process & verify accuracy of many different types of invoices (PO invoices, non-PO invoices, and invoice journals)
- Research price discrepancies and charges for unreceived items. Request credit notes from vendors when necessary
- Report issues with catalog items to Procurement and Retail Departments
- Set up and maintain vendor records
- Evaluate and reconcile vendor statements
- Maintain invoice approval workflow – Review for system errors and aging invoices that have not been approved
- Maintain open purchase orders – Research as necessary and close older POs which will not be invoiced
- Manage the procurement card program for a respective region
- Assist with AX testing on all software upgrades and enhancements
- Help corporate and theatre users with Accounts Payable or AX system related questions
- Reply to vendor calls and emails, providing assistance, as needed
- Other duties as directed by the Director of UK Accounting

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
None
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Advanced working knowledge of Excel. Microsoft AX experience would be a plus.
