What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Sales Consultant position at Regal?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maximize revenue for Group Sales by approaching each customer inquiry with a sales mindset.
- Sell group tickets and private auditorium rentals by phone and electronic inquiry.
- Serve as an expert in Regal’s product offerings.
- Make recommendations to customers based on their needs and Regal’s offerings.
- Provide quotes and answer customer questions.
- Prepare sales agreements, close sales, send confirmation notifications to customers, and collect payment.
- Stay informed of product and prices changes.
- Stay informed of the movie release calendar and other information related to movies available to the public.
- Respond professionally to a large volume of phone calls and emails.
- Maintain accurate data and CRM records.
- Facilitate excellent customer service on incoming & outgoing service calls for the Group Sales business.
- Work simultaneously within the CRM, email, and other programs and documents.
- Collect and process payment for group and private movie showings, and ensure all payments are collected before the event date.
- Offer suggestions and ideas for increasing the number of booked events.
- Communicate with theaters concerning group reservations.
- Respond to theater questions surrounding the Group Sales process, products, and procedures.
- Regular and consistent attendance.

Professional Skills:
- Must be motivated to generate revenue and have a sales mindset while facilitating expert customer service.
- Must be able to obtain working knowledge of the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics CE) in a Call Centre setting.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to handle customers at all levels of the event booking process.

- Excellent organization skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Theatre operational experience preferred

Language Ability:
Must have good reading, writing and speaking skills to effectively communicate with studios, managers, and co-workers.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to develop and interpret charts.
Reasoning Ability:
Perform under pressure and/or opposition at times relying on your own independent judgment and knowledge to decide the best directions and solutions. While representing the company, the marketing coordinator will be required to determine answers to questions and situations which may be socially or politically volatile. Execution and communication of such solutions are often in the public eye.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, database software.
