JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Regal Boats is seeking a dynamic Panel and Harness Technician to contribute to the success of our projects. Technicians are responsible for setting up boat-specific harnesses, following precise instructions, and ensuring quality in our assembly department.
Key Responsibilities

- Set up boat model-specific harnesses following detailed instructions.
- Use formulas for precise builds.
- Handle cutting, crimping, and connector configurations.
- Differentiate wire colors for lighting, pumps, AC, and DC management.
- Manufacture battery cables in-house, adhering to predefined formulas.
- Collaborate with dedicated teams for different boat types.
- Meet production metrics based on boat complexity and type.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in harness setup, cutting, crimping, and connector configurations.
- Basic understanding of wire color codes and battery cable manufacturing.
- Ability to work in a team and meet production goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical Certification(s) and/or technical degree(s).
- Familiarity with digital switching and industry trends.
- Experience in customizing harnesses for different boat types.
Work Environment
Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature reaching over 100 degrees fahrenheit at times.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to climb into and out of the boats using stairs. The employee must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds, work 10 hour days with most of the time being on your feet, and work overtime, whether planned or unplanned.
