Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team and provide nutritional care for residents at two long-term care facilities in Holyoke and Greenfield, Massachusetts. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of residents while working in a supportive healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and adjust dietary plans based on medical conditions and personal preferences
- Work closely with medical and dietary staff to ensure optimal nutrition for residents
- Provide education to residents, families, and staff regarding dietary needs and restrictions
- Ensure compliance with state and federal nutrition guidelines for long-term care facilities
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required
- Experience in long-term care or a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong understanding of clinical nutrition, meal planning, and regulatory guidelines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to travel between both facilities as needed
